NALFA Meets for Annual Spring Meeting

WASHINGTON D.C., 2021 — The North American Laminate Flooring Association met last week for its annual spring meeting. Traditionally held at NC State University, the Association met virtually this time amidst the pandemic.

Representatives from regular manufacturing members such as Classen, Kaindl Flooring, Kronospan USA, Swiss Krono USA, Mannington Mills, Mohawk Industries, Shaw Industries, and TORLYS attended the meeting as well as associate members Arauco NA, DMX Plastics, MP Global Products, Pak-Lite (PLI), and SELIT NA. NALFA’s retailer member, Floor & Decor, was in attendance in addition to educational member, NC State University.

The group met virtually over the course of three mornings and discussed a wide range of topics. Dr. Robert Dietz of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) gave an informative presentation to the group that included forecasts, housing and economic trends survey research, the general state of the home building industry, and policy analysis.  NALFA members look forward to returning to “in person” meetings in the fall.
