NALFA Announces Two New Members

WASHINGTON D.C., 2023 — NALFA welcomed two of its newest members recently, both in attendance at our last annual Fall Meeting in Clearwater, Florida. The new members include Framerica Corporation and Schattdecor.

“We are proud our newest additions to the NALFA family of leading companies, dedicated to fulfilling our mission of industry growth and well-being in the North American laminate flooring market,” said Barbara June, president of NALFA. “We are also pleased with the laminate category’s continued growth and are looking forward to welcoming new members in the future.”

Framerica was founded in 1969 as a modest picture frame shop on Long Island, NY. It has since become one of the largest profile wrappers in North America, specializing in floor transitions, picture frame and architectural moldings. Framerica Corp. is considered an Associate Member of NALFA, and we are excited to have them at our table.

Our other newest member, Schattdecor has joined the NALFA as the first décor printer to join the association. Schattdecor, founded in Germany in 1985, is a global surfaces specialist. They provide the panel and flooring industries worldwide with sophisticated solutions in decor development, application technology, and trend consulting. In 2011, Schattdecor made a commitment to the North American market by opening its first printing facility in North America. “The laminate flooring industry is an integral part of our business. We are pleased that NALFA has expanded its membership categories to include Vendor/Supplier memberships. We look forward to making positive contributions to the organization,”  Schattdecor Senior Sales Manager, Claire Froschauer.
