WASHINGTON D.C., 2023 — The North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) announces the date of its second 2023 laminate inspector certification class to be held on March 16th, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The class includes discussions on the Laminate Surface Swell Test – Assembled Joint developed by NALFA and adopted by the domestic and international laminate flooring industry.
This is the one and only class developed and taught by NALFA, the only laminate flooring trade association in North America. Attendees will receive first-hand information from industry representatives, gain direct access to technical support, obtain, or renew inspector certificates, and become the preferred inspector choice for the whole laminate flooring industry. The class will be held on Thursday, March 16th, 2023, in conjunction with the Association’s annual spring meeting in Raleigh, NC at NC State University, who is an educational member/testing facility of NALFA.
The class will be held from 12:30-2:30 pm EST in room 105 of Hodges Lab, 411 Dan Allen Drive, Raleigh, NC 26795.
The curriculum is a continuing education that will focus on lock systems, advances in laminate flooring manufacturing, noise claims, manufacturer’s installation requirements, water claims, best practices, manufacturing points of contact, inspection reporting, and certification testing. - Class fee is $350; if inspector renewal invoice is paid by class time, fee will be reduced to $250.
- The completion of this class will include your certification and listing for the remainder of 2023 throughout the end of 2024.
